~ Trash the Dress ~
"Trash the Dress" or TTD portraits are the hot new thing in photography. It is exactly what it sounds like - you wear a dress in your portraits that gets greatly exposed to the elements. You get in the sand and water and climb rocks and get dirty!This is usually a really nice dress, like your used prom or homecoming dress, and for many people, your wedding dress. These types of sessions are tons of fun for senior portraits and wedding couples.There is a small additional charge to your session fee for the extra time being added and materials needed, but you can mix these sheets in with your collections. They will all be included on the same CD, too, so the added cost is minimal to go out and have some fun!

BOYS
Basic Senior Portrait Tips
First of all, think about what has made your school experience special. If sports are your favorite part, bring your letter jacket and equipment. If music was your focus, bring your instrument(s). Love animals? Bring your pet! If you think it was the most fun because of your friends, family, boyfriend or girlfriend, consider adding them to one or two of your poses. It really is all about what's important to you.We don't limit your clothing options, but recommend keeping it around 4 outfits. This is to give you several options to choose from but help keep the session manageable. I have come to find that any more can start to be too much. Plan a variety of styles ~ long and short sleeves, pants and shorts, casual and formal... Finally, be aware of where you will be taking the pictures and what colors will provide a bold contrast to your scenery.Please be between 10-15 minutes early so that we can get everything situated and ready to go. Sessions can typically last around two hours due to walk time and being detail oriented. There is no stopwatch ~ don't worry about running over time. Just focus on yourself.
